Zillow's mortgage closing experience was powered by a third-party tool disconnected from the broader Zillow ecosystem. Owning the design end to end, I led the 0→1 design of a first-party replacement, unifying loan tracking, task management, document uploads, and closing milestones into a single native experience. Designed under a tight timeline with significant cross-functional complexity, with projected impact on loan officer efficiency, customer support reduction, and task completion.
